Workshop

(half day)

ARE YOU BEING ASKED TO DO MORE WITH LESS?

IS YOUR TEAM UNDER PRESSURE TO DELIVER EXCEPTIONAL RESULTS?

ARE THEY WORKING BELOW THEIR FULL POTENTIAL?

Driving your organisation to greater success requires setting and achieving goals that currently seem ambitious. This means taking your team beyond what they think they are capable of. It’s one thing to set an audacious goal - it’s another to get your team to emotionally invest and make meaningful progress towards it.

The tendency for people to stay inside their comfort zone is strong.  When you lay down a challenge many will immediately find silent ‘reasons’ for not committing. You can attempt to encourage with external rewards and incentives but you know yourself that even with the best will in the world there is often a gap between wanting a result and doing something about achieving it. When commitment is half hearted progress is poor and motivation falters.

This intensive half day workshop identifies and confronts the internal road blocks to achieving audacious goals. It provides your team with a set of tools and insights to help them become emotionally connected to their challenge and make a step change in performance.

PURPOSE

This workshop will get your participants to identify unhelpful beliefs and behaviours and replace them with empowering new attitudes and techniques.

WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR?

  • If you are looking to embed a culture of high performance in your business.
  • If you are about to set an audacious task to your team
  • If you have already set that task and progress is poorer than expected.

OUTCOMES

By the end of this workshop you will have staff that are measurably more committed and enthusiastic about achieving your organisation’s goals.

They will:

  • Have identified any limiting mindsets and mental barriers
  • Have increased confidence that they have the talent to take on the challenge
  • Have a more positive attitude towards the risk of failure and have examined ways to mitigate that risk
  • Have techniques for becoming emotionally engaged with a goal
  • Have an advanced understanding of the key elements of a goal
  • Be able to apply a range of techniques to bust through procrastination
  • Understand the link between measurement and motivation – and be able to match the best metric to their situation

FORMAT:

An intensive half day (3 hour) workshop. Participants work together in small groups to understand key concepts and then apply them individually to their own situation. No role plays, no interpretative dance, just focussed, highly interactive and inclusive exercises.

A workbook, including a summary of all the key ideas, is supplied.
